Rules & Regulations

These are outdoor and water sports; expect to get wet and be in the sun. Dress accordingly.

Rentals may be picked up and used at an offsite location and returned at a predetermined time agreed upon by both parties. *Delivery available upon request/availability.

Reservations are not required but are recommended. Reservations are held for up to 30 minutes following the reserved rental time. Unreserved rentals are first come, first serve.

Reservations require full payment at the time of booking.

Same day reservations are not permitted online. Rentals are first come, first serve.

Reservations canceled more than 24 hours prior to reservation will receive a full refund. Cancellation within 48 hours of your reservation will result in forfeiture of your deposit.

Inclement weather cancellations will be rebooked to another date/time if possible or a full refund will be issued.

Payment for duration of rental is due in full at time of contract; any additional rental time will require payment upon return of rental and equipment. Early returns for any reason, including weather, will not be refunded. Credits may be offered in some situations.

Renters must complete waiver in full before rental begins. One waiver must be completed per person.

Life jackets are provided for each participant and must be on vessel at all times. Children 12 and younger must have life jacket on at all times.

Designated areas of use must be respected during rental; any violation is considered a breach of contract. Slips, property of slip holders and guests are off limits; any violation is considered a breach of contract and may result in additional charges and ban from any further rentals.

Children 12 years of age and younger require an adult companion during rental.

Prices do not include tax. We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

Equipment is to be returned in original condition; any violation is considered breach of contract and may require additional charges.

Any personal belongings not taken with renter in provided safe storage compartments on rentals are not the responsibility of Port Side Rentals LLC.

WAVERUNNER Specific Rules & Regulations

Must be 18 years of age or older to rent and operate; passengers need to be 10 years of age or older. Up to 2 riders are permitted as long as they are age 10 + and total weight does not exceed posted weight limit (450 lbs).

Must have valid Drivers License or Photo ID

Valid Credit Card on file with $250 hold or $250 cash deposit is required. 

Renters must have a Boating Safety Education License or watch PWIA PWC Safety video and take PA Fish and Boat Commission Motorboat Renter exam, be given a verbal instruction period and upon completion you will be issued a Temporary Boating License.

No towing of any kind permitted.

PFD’s required to be worn at all times.

Must ride only in designated riding area.

Please arrive 20 minutes prior to your reserved rental time.
